Account & Data Deletion Request
This page explains how to delete your ALLGO account and the personal data linked to it, which data is erased on deletion, and which data must be retained under Korean law and for how long. It applies to both the rider app (올고 / ALLGO) and the driver app (올고 드라이버 / ALLGO Driver), which share one account system.

1. Delete your account in the app
If you can still sign in, you can delete your account directly in the app. It is processed immediately, with no approval step. The two apps have different menus, so the steps are listed separately.
Rider app — 올고 / ALLGO
Open the app and go to the [메뉴 / Menu] tab at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the profile card at the top of the screen — the one showing your name and email — to open [프로필 편집 / Edit profile].
Tap the [⋮] menu at the top right and select [회원 탈퇴 / Delete account].
Review the notice and tap [확인 / Confirm]. Your account and personal data are then erased.
Driver app — 올고 드라이버 / ALLGO Driver
Open the app and go to the [마이 / My] tab at the bottom of the screen.
Under [내 정보 / My info], select [프로필 · 차량 · 서류 / Profile · Vehicle · Documents].
Tap the [⋮] menu at the top right and select [탈퇴 / Delete account].
Review the notice and tap [탈퇴 / Delete]. Your account and personal data are then erased.
Deletion cannot be undone. You cannot sign in again with a deleted account, and signing up again with the same email or phone number does not restore your previous bookings or mileage.
2. If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in
If you have already removed the app or cannot sign in, email us the request below. We will verify your identity and delete the account on your behalf.
Please include the following in your email:
- The email address you signed up with (or your social login provider — Kakao, Google, or Apple)
- The mobile phone number registered on the account
- Which account you want deleted (customer account / driver account)

The details you provide are used only to verify your identity and are destroyed without delay once the request is processed.
Under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, we process the request and reply within 10 days of receipt.
3. Data that is deleted and data that is retained
Deleted immediately — unrecoverable
The following is destroyed beyond recovery the moment the account is deleted.
- Account details — email, name, mobile phone number, password, social login identifier
- Driver payout bank details — bank, account number, account holder
- Driver's licence number and business details — trade name, business registration number, business address
- Uploaded files — driver's licence, insurance certificate, business registration certificate, vehicle photos (the stored originals are deleted, not just the records)
- Profile photo
- Personal data contained in notification logs — recipient address and message body
- Push notification tokens and registered device information
Retained for a set period — required by law
The records below must be preserved under Korean law and therefore cannot be erased together with the account. Information that identifies you personally — name, contact details — is destroyed at the time of deletion, so what remains carries only an internal identifier. Each record is destroyed once its retention period ends.

Records of payment and supply of goods or services (trips, payments, settlements)

Tax invoices and other transaction evidence

Records of consumer complaints and dispute resolution
Legal basis: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce
- Retention: 6 months
Identity verification records
Legal basis: Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection

Records confirming the use and provision of location data
Legal basis: Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information

Access logs
Legal basis: Protection of Communications Secrets Act
Trip, payment and settlement records are subject to statutory retention and cannot be deleted early, even on request. Because personally identifying information has already been removed, the remaining records cannot be traced back to an individual user.
4. When deletion cannot be completed right away
An active trip is in progress
You cannot delete your account while a booking is dispatched or a trip is under way. Please request deletion again once the trip is finished.
A driver with unpaid settlements
Bank details are required to pay out settlements. The request is accepted, but the actual deletion runs automatically once payout is complete. Until then you can sign in and cancel the deletion request.
